Chester has been our home since 1990, and what better than a city with true Roman heritage. Italian owner, Italian heritage, great British manufacturing, that’s what makes Stefano De Blasio Kitchens a truly unique style amongst all the Cheshire and Cheshire Kitchen designers and manufacturers.
Stefano has trained in carpentry since he was 9 years old (from a long line of carpentry in the family line) and understands that kitchens are how we see ourselves and how we find the time to entertain and place importance in the things that matter, like doing the homework with the kids and grandchildren or having coffee mornings and dinner parties with friends and family.
Chester is our home, at Stefano De Blasio Kitchens we want to help you have your dream home as well.
Chester is all about the scenic and it does it magnificently well. From the independent stores on Watergate Street to the art galleries and in-store shopping in the Grosvenor Precinct, Chester mixes the old with the new in a balanced and bohemian fashion. There are some wonderful coffee houses as well as restaurants, enough to make you stop and consider what a beautiful city, Chester is.
The rows are admired from tourists worldwide whilst “the Clock” is the second most photographed after Big Ben in the world… a random statistic is something we can all admire.
We’ve spoken about wonderful coffee houses across all of Chester, even the restaurants, award winners like Sticky Walnut, the Chef’s Table and Joseph Benjamin to name but a few, but Chester is about more than that. With an ampitheatre we have history in full swing and now with the Storyhouse, Chester has a wonderful central hub of culture and learning all in one spot.
From Westminster park to Handbridge and the River Dee, Chester has beautiful walks, all abundant with stunning views of the city and the homes that drip along the Dee, the centre and the outskirts, each with their own unique style and beauty. From modern to old, conversion to re-builds, Chester has some of the most stunning homes we’ve had the pleasure of working in and hope to work in for many years to come.
Waverton is where we have been based since 1990. From our original factory and showroom setup, where we had one kitchen to display in a small space, to a purpose-built showroom area which was the largest in Chester at one point we have the kind of the displays that give you a taste of everything.
What’s important for us is that you get a sense of what we can do to your kitchen, which is transform a room into a living space. We believe that design is not one dimensional, it has many different caveats, and our showroom in Waverton does that. With a fully working demonstration kitchen we have the space to make you understand what will really make your kitchen stand out.
